Fletcher Cavanagh

Hi! My name is Fletcher Cavanagh, and I was born and raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, sharing a home with my parents and sisters. I've recently graduated from Northeastern University, receiving both my B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics. As I completed my masters program, I received a certificate in engineering leadership from the Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership (GIEL). This required leading and defending a Challenge Project, similar to a thesis, with a focus on both the technical content and business case for the project.

I am interested in the robotics industry, with a focus on the design and implementation of control systems for mobile robots. I am open to work within broader aspects of mechanical and software engineering, and am always looking for new opportunities. I enjoy applying my technical knowledge to personal projects, making use of my 3D printer, soldering iron, and other tools to make some neat stuff.

Outside of engineering, I like to spend time playing chess, cooking, working out, or picking up a new hobby / skill. I'm never afraid to try something new, and enjoy getting out of my comfort zone.
